14 May 2017 Miami Open211 presentation at Venture Cafe [63222]
Thursday, May 18th, 2017: 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM

Venture Cafe - Miami

The Miami Open211 project is making it easier to find and use information about the availability of health, human, and social services to Miami-Dade residents in need.

Join us at Venture Cafe, in the Cambridge Innovation Center, for a presentation of our work to date and a discussion of where we go from here. In partnership with Code for Miami and the Open Referral Initiative -- and with funding from the Children's Trust of Miami-Dade County, plus support from Jewish Community Services of South Florida -- Miami Open211 has transformed Switchboard of Miami's 2-1-1 resource directory database into an 'open platform,' which can now provide critical data about the availability of community resources as a public service to an ecosystem of nonprofits, governments, funders, and startups.
