Sun and SAP have collaborated to create the Sun N1 Advanced Architecture for SAP Solutions that provides end-to-end provisioning and management of SAP applications across virtualized heterogeneous environments, including the Solaris 10 Operating System (Solaris OS). This new software solution enables enterprise companies with large IT environments to consolidate and virtualize their SAP application landscape.
Ricoh Corporation's Embedded Software Architecture Software Development Kit/J (SDK/J) will be supported in the next release of NetBeans Mobility Pack for CDC. Ricoh switched its preferred developer tool from Eclipse to standardize on NetBeans software. The NetBeans/Ricoh solution is expected to be presented during NetBeans Software Day in San Francisco on May 15, 2006.
