The EPA is joining Sun to define a standard metric to measure the energy efficiency of servers [16251]. Sun's UltraSPARCR T1 Processor recently received a 2006 Environment Prize [16224]. By introducing the Netra ACTA blade server for the telco market, Sun plans to capture more of the blade server market [16183]. IDC says the blade server market is expected to grow to $10 billion by 2009.
