Sun has deemed the end of life (EOL) for the Sun Fire V20z servers in favor of the new Sun Fire X4100 and Sun Fire X4200 servers. The last order date is set for April 10, 2006, last ship date is June 30, 2006, and the end of service life is June 30, 2011.
Sun Fire X2100 servers with AMD Opteron Model 152 and 175 standard configurations are being transitioned with Sun announcing the last order date as April 14, 2006, last ship date as June 30, 2006, and end of service life as June 30, 2011.
