Sun Announces 1.5GHz UltraSPARC IV+ Uniboards
Delivers up to 50-80% Increased Throughput
Sun will be releasing new 1.5GHz UltraSPARC IV+ Uniboards supported across its entire midrange and high-end server line in the next few weeks. These uniboards are designed to allow Sun Fire servers to deliver up to 50-80 percent increased throughput over the UltraSPARC IV-based servers and 3-3.5 times the throughput of the UltraSPARC III-based systems.
