The Sun BigAdminSM Bucks Program offers developers turned writers rewards for their technical tips and articles submitted between now and December 31, 2005, when this solicitation is scheduled to end. Sun is seeking submissions on SolarisTM Operating System (Solaris OS) development and SunTM Studio tools. Sun will be the sole arbiter of a submission's appropriateness and its suitability for publication.

Submissions will be rewarded according to length and type as follows:

• Link (1 buck)
• Script (5 bucks)
• Short Tech Tip - 1 page or less (10 Bucks)
• Regular Tech Tip - 2 to 4 pages (20 Bucks)
• Long Tech Tip/Article - 5+ pages (30 Bucks)
• Long Article - 8 or more pages (40 Bucks)

Submitters can redeem their accumulated BigAdmin Bucks by "cashing" them in for the following rewards:

• BigAdmin Pen (5 Bucks)
• All-in-One Tool Gizmo (10 bucks)
• Stainless Steel Coffee Travel Mug (15 bucks)
• BigAdmin Hat (15 bucks)
• Solaris Marble Maze (15 Bucks)
• BigAdmin T-Shirt (12 bucks)
• Solaris 128MB USB Memory Stick (65 Bucks)
• BigAdmin Fleece Jacket (75 bucks)

All submitted materials become the property of Sun and will not be returned. Submitters must accept the BigAdmin Bucks Program Participation Agreement and attest that materials presented are original, non-confidential and do not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party. Any and all changes to submissions must be reported immediately to bigadminbucks@sun.com.
