Sun has released the Java Internal Use License (JIUL) for the JDK 5.0 that allows developers to make changes to the JDK easily for their own internal deployments. Programmers using the Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 under the JIUL now are able to fix any critical issue in the code that adversely affects their business operations.
