With the early release of snapshots, developers and IT managers have a competitive advantage by being able to advance test and develop the latest technologies.

The SunSM Software Express for SolarisTM Operating System (Solaris OS) has released its 4/05 snapshots for download on its Web site. This program offers the latest technologies built from the development team's work-in-progress code base released at monthly intervals for both SPARCR and x86 platforms.

Sun Software Express Program is a new concept that offers high quality snapshots of Sun's future software products. The Sun Software Express for Solaris is the first product in the Sun Software Express Program.

This program is designed to benefit developers and community users by shortening technology adoption cycles and allowing customers to benefit from the new technologies as soon as possible. With the early release of snapshots, developers and IT managers have a competitive advantage by being able to advance test and develop the latest technologies. It also enables IT managers to use these new technologies as a differentiator in applications and services.

To join the Sun Software Express for Solaris OS, users need to have a Sun Download Center account and agree to licensing terms and conditions related to each particular software release.
