Tell Sun About Your Experience with Solaris OS and Win an Apple 20 GB iPod
Contest Offers Monthly Drawing to Win Through December 2004

Sun is searching for stories on beloved or disliked SolarisTM Operating Systems (Solaris OS). Send in a minimum of four sentences explaining why you love or hate Solaris OS, and automatically be entered into a monthly drawing to win an Apple 20 GB iPod, that is a $300 value.

An Apple 20 GB iPod will be given away once every month through December 31, 2004.

Permission will be sought to post stories that are particularly intriguing on the Sun Web site, and these authors could be eligible for an Apple iPod automatically, separate from the monthly drawing.

Contest Rules

  • A completed entry form must be submitted with a minimum of four sentences. Submit the form online by 11:59 p.m. PT on the last day of the month for which you wish to enter during the contest period. During the contest period, entries received after 11:59 p.m. on the last day of the month will be entered into the following month's drawing. Mail or facsimile submissions will not be considered. Do not include any company confidential information or details that may be inappropriate to share with the general public.

  • If you have more than one story, you can enter multiple times each month or during different months, but each story must be unique and self-contained.

  • Drawings will be held monthly during the contest period from the pool of all eligible entries. Sun will make the selection and notify prize winners by email and/or telephone.

  • Contestants must be 18 years of age or older and a legal resident of the country in which residing to enter the contest. This contest is sponsored by Sun. Employees of Sun Microsystems and its affiliated entities are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.
