Belgacom Housing and Business Recovery Services, one of the leading suppliers of global telecommunications solutions on the Belgian market, has met the stringent standards that qualify it for certification under the SunToneSM Initiative.

Belgacom offers a wide range of Net Center Services as a datacenter provider. Services include housing and business recovery. Belgacom is currently investing in the extension of its datacenter facilities in Machelen, in addition to exploring expansion into the international market.

The certification attests to the ability of Belgacom Housing and Business Recovery Services to meet the scalability, availability, reliability and performance standards necessary for quality deployment of network-based IT services or applications.

The SunTone Initiative, an industry effort led by Sun, provides specifications for best practices and policies, offerings of assessment and remediation consulting and an audit and certification process, aimed at ensuring high quality networked service delivery and management.
