The Sun JavaTM Studio Creator is currently available as a part of the SunSM Developer Network (SDN) subscriptions program. This marks the first commercial release of the JavaTM development environment for the corporate developer marketplace. The SDN is available in both a standard and professional configuration.

The standard subscription is available for US$99 per developer per year and includes a perpetual license for the Sun Java Studio Creator Development Environment. Installation support is included for 90 days, as is a media warranty. Also included is one year of access to community support forums and product update and upgrades for one year.

The professional subscription is available for US$699 per developer per year and includes all components of the SDN standard subscription. One year of unlimited access to the managed support forums is included, as is one year of unlimited product specific tool user assistance.

The SDN is designed to give developers tools, tutorials, examples, code clips, components, technical articles, technical forums and developer support all in a single subscription. Both standard and professional subscriptions are also tailored to the needs of the corporate developer.
