Receive a 35 percent trade-in allowance on existing UltraSPARCR III Cu 750 MHz, 900 MHz or 1.05 GHz uniboards when upgrading to UltraSPARCR III Cu 1.2 GHz uniboards. This extended promotion runs through June 30, 2004.

Eligible UltraSPARC III Cu 1.2 GHz Uniboard X-Options:

• 2 CPUs at 1.2 GHz with 4 GB (8 x 512 MB DIMMs)
• 4 CPUs at 1.2 GHz with 8 GB (16 x 512 MB DIMMs)
• 4 CPUs at 1.2 GHz with 16 GB (32 x 512 MB DIMMs)
• 4 CPUs at 1.2 GHz with 32 GB (32 x 1 GB DIMMs)

Installation services policy on the UltraSPARC III Cu 1.2 GHz uniboards includes system board installation with all the initial chassis install. Any subsequent system board installation on the Sun FireTM 4800 server is subject to charge, while the Sun FireTM 12K server and Sun FireTM 15K server will be done at no charge.

Uniboards traded-in must be owned by, used by and in the possession of the customer at least 90 days prior to upgrading. To qualify for the upgrade allowance, customers must return complete boards with all original factory configured memory within 90 days.

Options are also available to upgrade from UltraSPARC III and receive trade-in allowances towards the purchase of replacement UltraSPARC s400 uniboards under the Sun Upgrade Advantage Program. For more information, go to:
