Expanded Liberty Functionality Available in Sun Java System Identity Server
Helping Customers Deliver Mobility with Security
The Liberty Alliance approved its Phase 2 specifications on November
12, 2003. Sun is expanding the existing Liberty functionality of the
Sun Java Enterprise System through its Sun Java System Identity
Server (formerly Sun ONE Identity Server) to include support for
Liberty's Phase 2 specifications. The alliance is providing a best
practices guide.

Vignette to Integrate and Support Sun Java System Products
With Vignette V7 Content Management Suites
Vignette will integrate the Sun Java System Directory Server with
the Vignette V7 content management suites and support components of the
Sun Java Enterprise System such as the Sun Java System
Application Server. Vignette will also work with Sun to develop and
support a portlet library connecting Vignette V7 content management
suites to the Sun Java System Portal Server.
