The number one deployment platform for Oracle's E-Business Suite (E-BS) (AKA Oracle Applications 11i) is the SolarisTM Operating System (Solaris OS) (SPARCR Platform Edition). A version of E-BS that will run on Solaris OS (x86 Platform Edition) is under development.
