Sun is transitioning the DLT8000, SDLT 220 and DLT/SDLT HVD technology
for the Sun StorEdge L25 and L100 tape libraries. There is no
direct replacement. Also being transitioned is the DLT8000 drive option
for the Sun StorEdge L1000 tape library. The last order date is October 31, 2003. The DLT8000 Flexipack is also being transitioned.
