Java 2 SDK, Standard Edition Updates 1.4.1_02 Now Available
Over 2000 Bug Fixes
Java 2 Software Development Kit (SDK) updates include bug fixes
(not new features or functionality). The updates have been developed
based on key customer issues and feedback on the previous FCS release.
There are over 2000 bug fixes. Two new garbage collectors have been
added to improve application performance in the Java Virtual
Machine (JVM) and several significant enhancements have been made
to the Java Plug-in.
Lifecycle Management and Work Management Contracts in the J2EE Connector Architecture 1.5
Interfaces and Classes
Changes to the J2EE Connector Architecture 1.5 include four new
contracts that a resource adapter must support. Jennifer Rodoni focuses on
