This new monitor features a 0.24mm dot pitch flat screen with support for a 1280 x 1024@75/76Hz resolution while remaining backward compatible with the previous Sun-branded 17-inch CRT monitor. The existing Sun 17-inch monitor supporting 1152 x 900 resolution will be transitioned.

        GNU C/C++/Fortran/ObjectiveC to C Converter

        GCC2C is a "GNU C/C++/Fortran/ObjectiveC to C" converter written as an extension for the GCC compiler. It takes source code written for GCC and outputs equivalent C code, which can then be fed into the target ANSI C compiler. In tests, use of Forte or Sun ONE Studio C software compilers (formerly Forte for Java) has shown significantly improved performance with GCC compatibility.
