solution from Mobilitec and Sun as the foundation for its new Java

CollabNet, a provider of collaborative software development solutions,
has produced a full port of the CollabNet SourceCast Collaborative
Development Environment (CDE) to the Solaris Operating Environment
(Solaris OE) as part of its multi-level relationship with Sun
Microsystems. CollabNet will also qualify the Sun Open Net
Environment (Sun ONE) Studio for Java Integrated Development
Environment (IDE) to utilize source code repositories within the
CollabNet SourceCast environment.
Solaris 9 Operating Environment (Solaris OE) x86 Customer Early
Access software is now available for general testing and evaluation.
Though Sun does not offer support for this Intel Platform Edition Early
Access version of Solaris OE, there is an online forum for information and
a download site.
The Sun Quad FastEthernet Hardware Collection offers a series of

Virgin Atlantic Airways, Britain's second largest long-haul carrier,
has successfully migrated all 90 of its Oracle-based databases from IBM
Sequent systems to Sun Fire 6800 servers. Virgin Atlantic is also
moving applications and databases from its IBM AS-400 and Windows NT
systems to Sun so that all its Oracle databases will reside on Sun
systems.

enhances the value of Sun StorEdge arrays and integrated systems.
Enterprise-wide health management and diagnostics services are
delivered by Sun StorEdge Enterprise Storage Manager software to
simplify SAN management with a single point of command-and-control for
the storage environment and a consolidated view of key storage
management services.
The Sun BluePrints document by Hartmut Streppel provides basic

offers helpful tips for setting up sound administrative practices. The
author focuses on single-site level disaster recovery for data centers.

the Solaris 8 Operating Environment (Solaris OE). Start by determining
