Two software applications are now available for download. The WBEM Dynamic Reconfiguration (WDR) 1.0 for Solaris Operating Environment (Solaris OE) (SPARC Platform Edition) delivers enhanced capabilities that makes the Solaris OE manageable by a multitude of WBEM application developers. The Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2ME) Mobile Media API Reference Implementation Version 1.0 (MMAPI) includes the source code as well as a binary runtime of MMAPI, as well as tools and documentation intended for assistance in porting MMAPI.

New Sun StorEdge L25 and L100 Modular Tape Libraries
Can be Upgraded in the Field

The new Sun StorEdge L25 and L100 modular tape libraries are available with LTO SCSI HVD and Sun StorEdge DLT8000 HVD drives. The Sun StorEdge L25 is a 25 LTO-cartridge (21 with DLT), 1-2 drive stackable library and the Sun StorEdge L100 is a 100 LTO-cartridge (84 with DLT), 1-6 drive library. These libraries can be upgraded in the field.

The new release simplifies the management and deployment of Sun storage area network (SAN) solutions by streamlining operational activities and reducing the complexities associated with management.
