Grid Technology
Increases Productivity and Directly Addresses the Bottom Line
Grid computing can help companies deliver processing power to their
employees, partners and customers as a commodity, no longer tied to a
single network or server system. Making the shift to grid computing can
give your organization benefits that directly address the bottom line.
To address the particular needs of a business environment, Sun created
an Enterprise Edition version of the Sun Grid Engine software, with
a specialized Policy Module that governs how compute resources are
allocated across departments.
