Sun and Vuico announced the availability of JavaTM technology-based
wireless infrastructure solutions for creating, assembling and
deploying Web services. Vuico provides mobile Java technology-based
applications with transparent access to Web services through NTT
Software's BLUEGRID software, which leverage the SunTM ONE
architecture.
NTT Software Corporation of Japan is a major investment and technology
partner of Vuico. Vuico was established to adapt and enhance NTT
Software's advanced wireless technology and applications and market
that technology in North and South America.
This leverage will allow Vuico to provide a significant competitive
edge to customers by offering advanced wireless technology, built to
global standards and designed for rapid development and deployment of
Web Services, giving subscribers access to a rich array of wireless
Internet services.

BLUEGRID was developed with JavaTM 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition

technologies to speed up the deployment of Web Services and ensure
reliable communications between mobile devices and applications
servers. BLUEGRID software runs on the J2EE platform, including the
recently announced iPlanetTM Application Server 6.5, to offer
developers the ability to rapidly create, assemble and deploy
sophisticated enterprise applications.
