General Dynamics C4 Systems selected Sun as Top Strategic Supply
Partner for 2001. General Dynamics and Sun will deliver
rugged UltraComputingTM Program systems that will

technology, and the SunTM Open Net Environment (Sun ONE) platform,
which includes the SolarisTM Operating Environment, iPlanetTM

The alliance between Sun and General Dynamics has developed over the
past 11 years through the execution of the U.S. Army Common

"The Sun team has consistently met or exceeded our performance
requirements," said Jerry DeMuro, president, General Dynamics C4
Systems. General Dynamics designs, integrates and supports strategic
and tactical battlefield communication systems worldwide. "Our
customers enjoy access to technology roadmaps and innovations that are

relationship has helped position us as a competitive team for strategic
design assignments and significant new customer opportunities."
"Recognition as a Strategic Supply Chain Partner demonstrates the value
we place on the success of our working relationships," said Tom
Kreidler, vice president, Government Division, Sun.
"Collaborating seamlessly with technology partners like General
