New E-business Solution from Sun and Vignette
Support for Sun Open Net Environment and Java Technology

Sun and Vignette Corp. will jointly market a packaged e-business solution that integrates best-of-breed offerings from both companies. The solution includes the Vignette V6 Content Suite and Vignette V6 MultiSite Content Manager (VMCM) which support JavaTM technology, and the iPlanetTM Portal Server, iPlanetTM Application Server, iPlanetTM Directory Server and iPlanetTM Web Server.

Vignette Professional Services (VPS) and the Sun Professional ServicesSM Program will help customers architect and implement an e-business infrastructure based on the SunTM Open Net Environment (Sun ONE) architecture. Vignette V6 Content Suite enables Web content management, personalization, segment reporting, visual integration wizards and aggregation functionality. VMCM eases content management on multiple sites and portals via a single application. The solution will be available in mid-2002.
