A new certification, ES-230 Design and Administration of Backup and Recovery Systems, has been developed for backup and recovery engineers responsible for the design and implementation of backup systems in the datacenter with an emphasis on VERITAS NetBackup or Solstice BackupTM Software. The examination is designed to measure knowledge of reliable backup methodology, restoring data and meeting design requirements.

ES-230 Design and Administration of Backup and Recovery Systems provides students with the information and interactive exercises needed for developing the skills used to design and implement backup and restore systems. The course provides interactive and practical exercises in assessing, designing and implementing an enterprise-level backup and recovery system. And it supports Sun Certification.
