The Web Services on Demand Summit will feature a webcast on SunTM
Open Net Environment (Sun ONE) in education on November 6, 2001. This
webcast will last for an hour. There will be two sessions: 8:00 a.m.
Pacific Time and 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
Experts in web services from Sun will talk about Sun ONE, web services
products and technologies, technology choices and the trade-offs that
IT departments need to consider when committing to various kinds of web
services. There will be an opportunity to interact with the presenters
during this webcast conference.
The agenda includes an opening talk and overview by Shirish Netke,

minutes. Next will be a discussion on the Web Services Value
Proposition by Marty Robins, Sales Development Director Sun ONE, Sun.
Additional discussions are Web Services Technologies by Hal Stern,
Chief Technology Officer iPlanet, Sun; Options in Deploying Web
Services by Marc Hamilton, Director of Technology Global Education and
Research; and a question and answer session.
