    Rising Again, Together
    In Memory of Philip Rosenzweig

One Sun employee was a passenger on American Airlines Flight 11. Philip Rosenzweig, 47, was a director in Sun's software organization and worked in Burlington, MA.

Phil was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and was a 1976 graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) where he obtained a degree in computer science.

After joining Sun in January 1991, Phil held key engineering roles in our software organization and later in Sun Labs. He and his development team received several patents in new networking technologies. Phil had recently joined a new group as the director of horizontal scaling within Sun's Software Systems Group and was in the early stages of planning this important initiative.

Phil is survived by his wife and two children. We will miss him. Our prayers and thoughts are with Phil's family and loved ones.
