Downloads are available for JavaTM Runtime Environment (JRE) for SolarisTM Operating Environment (OE) platforms on the Sun web page. The Java Runtime Environment for the Solaris OE is based on the production release of the corresponding JavaTM Development Kit and is tuned and tested for Solaris OE software.

The downloads are for JavaTM 2 Platform, Standard Edition (J2SETM) Runtime Environment 1.4.0 Beta 2 for the Solaris SPARCTM Platform Edition and Solaris Intel Platform Edition. There are also downloads for the JRE 1.3.0_04 Production Release, 1.3.0_03, 1.3.0_02, and 1.3.0, and more.
