Demonstration by Forte for Java and iPlanet Developer Pack Enterprise Edition

A demonstration of the integrated solution available with ForteTM for JavaTM and the iPlanetTM Developer Pack Enterprise Edition will be a feature of the Gartner's AD Summit 2001, Technological Possibilities, Business Realities Conference in Palm Springs, California, on September 12-14, 2001.

The conference will address the technological and cultural evolution of today's computing platforms and provide application development teams with the knowledge of best practices, technology, and thorough analysis needed to respond to the technological possibilities in the face of business realities.

Features of the conference include:

- Techniques to manage applications early in the planning and development stages to ensure a long and productive application life - The latest strategies from the leading wireless vendors and analysis of the looming wireless revolution - What it takes to successfully fuse business and technology - How to effectively manage an organization during this time of evolution

Gartner's AD Summit 2001 is aimed toward IT executives, managers, or planners involved in application development.

There is a pre-conference workshop, "A Survey of Today's AD Technologies," on Microsoft's .NET, web services and the JavaTM technology environment. David Chappell will discuss what these technologies are, how they work, and how they compare.
