Featuring Java Technology Certification Program

Sun brings its JavaTM technology certification Fast Track program to this year's JDJEdge Conference and Expo on September 23-27 in New York. There are three code-level, full-day (or more) courses featuring concentrated technical reviews to help candidates prepare for the certification examination.

Keynote speakers for the JDJEdge Conference include James Gosling of Sun, Alan E. Baratz of Zaplet, Yogesh Gupta of Computer Associates International, Greg Kiessling of Sistraka, and Kevin Lynch of Macromedia.

Featured sessions include:

  • Combining Java 2DTM API, AWT, and Swing to Deliver High-Performance Map-Based Network Visualization Systems: Discusses visualization and mapping for network management
  • Testing JavaBeansTM components: On coding, reusing, and White-box testing
  • Where JavaTM 2 Platform, Micro Edition (J2METM) is headed: Covers where it has been and where it is going

Other topics include web services, B2B, achieving enterprise level XML and e-business integrations with Java technology, application development, web server files, mobile devices and Java technology, digital signatures, security, and wireless.
