Special Price on 3D Animation and Workstation Solution

Building on its momentum in digital content creation markets, Sun has announced the availability of a professional-level, 3D animation promotional package that runs on the new Sun Blade 100 workstation and is powered by Electric Image's new Universe 3D animation software.

The combined hardware and software package will be available through June 28, 2001 for as low as $2,995, representing more than 30% in savings compared to purchasing the items separately. This promotional offer will only be offered through participating Authorized Sun Resellers, and, at this time, is only available in North America.

Electric Image Universe Animation Software includes Universe Modeler, Universe Animator, and Camera (renderer).

The 64-Bit Sun Blade 100 Workstation includes:

Onboard PGX64 frame buffer (for possible dual monitor configuration)

Sun and Electric Image are also offering an expanded educational package during the same time period, which includes five Sun Blade 100 workstations and five full Electric Image Universe software licenses at a promotional price of $10,880.
