Sun Announces iForce Premier Practice Program Delivers Innovative and Reliable Wireless Solutions
Sun has announced the iForce Premier Practice Program, featuring
solutions for the burgeoning wireless marketplace. The iForce Premier
Practice Program includes a wide array of wireless solutions that are
available through a dozen of Sun's iForce system integrators and
eIntegrators. With this new program, Sun has selected integrators who
exhibit a particular expertise in a market, working with them to offer
solutions that can be made available to a broad variety of customers.
Future solutions for the iForce Premier Practice Program will be
designed for e-marketplaces, customer relationship management, and
portals.
The iForce Premier Practice Program combines scalable and tested
software, systems, networking, and consulting services in one simple
relationship. Together, the solutions allow customers to quickly
leverage the exponential growth in the wireless arena, in such areas as
mobile workforce automation, mobile procurement and mobile portal for
key targeted industry markets. Each solution in Sun's iForce Premier
Practice Program has already been successfully deployed for existing
clients, and thus enables customers to spend less time and money
designing and implementing their business solutions.
iForce solutions are designed to be flexible enough to meet the breadth
and depth of customer needs, as well as to allow for customization
during the deployment phase at the customer's own sites. As a result,
it is easier for new customers to reduce time and risk in implementing
similar solutions that address their unique business needs. The
collaborative effort between members of the iForce partner community
includes components from partners such as application
providers, service providers, iPlanet E-Commerce Solutions, and Sun
Professional Services. Sun Professional Services plays an integral part
by assisting in designing the architecture and deploying Internet
platforms and technologies, including these wireless solutions.
As part of the iForce Premier Practice Program, Sun may provide
integrators with access to an extensive array of iForce offerings.
