International Conference for Java Development January 21, 2001,
Volume 35, Issue 1
Sun will run its Java University Program at the International
Conference for Java Development (ICJD), February 28 - March 2 at the Marriott
Marquis, New York City. Sun's Java University will be offered on
February 26-27 and will provide developers with two days of
pre-conference, code-level training sessions presented by Sun and other
industry experts. More than 2,500 attendees from within the Java
technology community are expected to attend. Sun will also be offering
delegates on-site skills assessments and Java technology certification
exams on the show floor.
"Java University compliments the technical sessions and exhibits at the
International Conference for Java Development perfectly," said Jason
Fish, Manager of Sun Education's Americas Events. "Our
one and two-day, code-level training courses provide a natural
compliment to the over 70 technical sessions Camelot provides during
the conference. This full-circle experience allows Java technology
professionals to not only enhance their programming skills and learn
the latest technical updates, but also have time to meet companies on
the exhibit floor shaping enterprise and Internet computing today. Sun
Education is confident our training expertise and Camelot's experience
in the Java technology developer community will result in one of the
most sophisticated and notable Java technology conferences in 2001."
