Solaris 2.5.1 EOL

Solaris 2.5.1 will be removed from sale. It has been superseded by later versions of Solaris.

The last order date for Solaris 2.5.1 will be June 23, 2000. The last ship date will be September 22, 2000.

Solaris 8 supports all systems supported by Solaris 2.5.1, with the exception of the 600MP series, sun4c platform and SPARCstation Voyager. Solaris 7 supports all systems supported by Solaris 2.5.1 with the exception of the 600MP series. Solaris 2.6 supports all systems supported by Solaris 2.5.1.
