SPARC at 25: Past, Present and Future is the program scheduled for November 1, 2012, at the Computer History Museum in San Francisco. According to Larry Wake, various luminaries connected with SPARC will be on hand to share their recollections and to share as well items from their private collections of SPARC memorabilia. These individuals include Sun Microsystems founders Bill Joy and Andy Bechtolsheim, SPARC luminaries such as Anant Agrawal and David Patterson, former Sun VP Bernard Lacroute, plus Oracle executives Mark Hurd, John Fowler and Rick Hetherington. Wake adds that, for those not in the Bay Area that day, plans are to make a video of the event available. Registration is required and can be done here.
