Gartner Magic Quadrant for x86 Server Virtualization Infrastructure

Gartner has just published its 2012 Magic Quadrant for x86 Server Virtualization, in which it names Oracle to the Challengers quadrant, an upgrade from its Niche quadrant position in earlier periods. Cinzia Mascanzoni attributes this jump to the strength of the Oracle VM 3.0 release; integrated management capabilities; and solid customer momentum over the past year.
