Infrastructure as Code" by Mike Loukides, VP of Content Strategy, who writes that IT specialists are becoming part of the development team, writing the code that maintains infrastructure in multi-server environments. Even applications that run in the cloud have to be resilient and fault tolerant, O'Reilly's release note contends, creating the need to be monitored and the capability to adjust to huge swings in load.
