Volume 155, Issue 2
It was a fruitful synergy that allowed the server, storage, and OS virtualization technologies common in datacenters to be considered for a new role in network virtualization, where cost reductions and increases in network flexibility are now reasonable expectations. "Oracle provides a networking fabric that delivers cloud-ready network services based on Ethernet or InfiniBand fabrics that are tightly integrated with application infrastructure. OracleÂ’s network fabric provides the performance and manageability required for any Oracle application environment or private cloud infrastructure."
