The forthcoming book "Oracle Solaris 10 System Virtualization Essentials" will go beyond hypervisors and present information on all forms of server virtualization that is provided by Solaris 10 as well as those that the OS can use, writes one of its authors Jeff Victor. Areas to be covered are expected to include Solaris Containers (also called Solaris Zones), VirtualBox, Oracle VM (x86 and SPARC; the latter of which was known as Logical Domains), and Dynamic Domains. Victor's blog entry provides a few more details, noting that the book is available for pre-order at Amazon.com.
