MySQL TRAINING SCHEDULE

MySQL for Beginners

Learn how to use this powerful relational database management. This instructor led, hands-on class covers all the basics - the fundamentals of SQL and relational databases. It is geared toward new or existing users of MySQL, who have little or no previous experience with a relational database management system. Both new MySQL Developers and Database Administrators will benefit from this class.

MySQL for DBAs

An authorized MySQL instructor teaches how to properly install MySQL, create and execute Backup Strategies, implement partitioning, manage users, and more. The class is instructor led and hands on, teaching how to secure users privileges, set resource limitations, and access controls. In addition, it explains how to use the latest features such as Partitioning, Stored Procedures, Triggers and Views.

MySQL for Developers

This five-day course relays how to develop applications with all the new features of MySQL 5.0. This course covers essential SQL statements for data design, querying, and programming. In addition, it will prepare students for the MySQL Developer certification.

MySQL for High Availability

This course is designed for experienced database administrators and system architects that want to analyze and form a basis of understanding different high availability options, including clustering and replication solutions within MySQL. This course will provide the tools required to make the decision of what high availability solution is appropriate and how to implement a system with the correct design.

MySQL Performance Tuning

This four-day course is designed for database administrators and others who wish to monitor and tune MySQL. This course will prepare each student with the skills needed to utilize tools for monitoring, evaluating and tuning. Students will evaluate the architecture, learn to use the tools, configure the database for performance, tune application and SQL code, tune the server, examine the storage engines, assess the application architecture, and learn general tuning concepts.

MySQL Bootcamp

This is an intense immersion learning experience in MySQL 5.0 administration and development. For five days, the MySQL Boot Camp training course provides students with an 11 hour-per-day program. It is an accelerated course that provides experienced developers and administrators with the necessary skills to successfully develop and administer MySQL 5 applications. Students will learn from MySQL-Certified experts through a combination of lab exercises, lectures, and presentations.

MySQL Cluster

Learn the important details of clustering in order to get started with MySQL Cluster, such as how to properly configure and manage the cluster nodes to ensure high availability, how to install the different nodes and provide a better understanding of the internals of the cluster.
