The Lustre User Group 2010 conference is set for April 14-16, in Aptos, Calif. on Monterey Bay. Registration for the event, which is ongoing, will be limited to 150 people to ensure the conference remains conversational and interactive.

The first day of the conference will consist of a Lustre User Advanced Seminar geared toward senior systems administrators, engineers, and integrators needing more comprehensive knowledge of Lustre Administration and Troubleshooting techniques. The following two days will cover a variety of topics, lead by both Sun experts and Lustre users.

Customer presentations are still being considered. Presentations are generally 30 minutes to one hour. Abstracts of proposed talks can be submitted to Dan Ferber. A technical paper is not needed. Any questions should be directed to Ferber.

Reservations for Lustre User Group 2010 are on a first come, first served basis. Cost is $495 per person. A special early-bird rate of $350 is available until March 31, 2010. The Lustre Advanced User Seminar is an additional $500, but also discounted to $350 until March 31, 2010. The Lustre Advanced User Seminar is free to speakers at LUG 2010.
