Updated Hardware Compatibility List for Sun Ray Thin Clients

New Soft Client for Sun Ray Server Software

Sun Ray Software solution delivers a rich, virtual Windows, Linux or Solaris OS desktop to Sun Ray clients. With the release of Sun Ray Software 5, Sun also has produced a soft client that runs on Windows XP, Vista and 7, and connects to Sun Ray Servers. There are configuration changes to the Sun Ray Server Software that must take place in order for the soft client to connect. The Corner 11 blog explains how to configure the software to allow connections from the soft client to a version previous to 4.2, or a 4.2 server that does not have the soft client functionality enabled.

New Sun Ray Software Documentation

The official Sun Ray Software 5 product documentation has moved to a wiki to coincide with Sun Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) 3.
