PCIe pass-through Fabric Expansion Module

A new Fabric Expansion Module for the Sun Blade T6320 and T6340 Server Modules is expected to support Sun Blade 6000 Virtualized 10GbE Network Express Module (NEM). This new product offering will help customers reduce the cost of cabling and port management, simplify blade deployment and re-configuration as well as eliminate the need for compatibility and interoperability issues with enterprise switches.

Sun reports that up to 10 Sun Blade T6320 and/or T6340 can be supported in a Sun Blade 6000 chassis. Each of the servers requires one Fabric Expansion Module (X4835A) to support one or two Sun Blade 6000 Virtualized 10GbE NEM (X4238A).

This solution supports the Solaris 10 05/09 or later.

The warranty available for this product is for three years with next business day response during business hours coverage. Phone response time is within an 8 hour time frame.
