OpenSolaris 2009.06 is now immediately available with new features including official support for the SPARC platform, improved Time Slider Snapshot Management and Package Manager, plus many more. Additionally, Sun is offering OpenSolaris enterprise class level support through new OpenSolaris Subscriptions that come in a choice of Basic, Standard, and Premium support. Along with this announcement, Sun advises that existing OpenSolaris Software Subscriptions will be retired in July.
