Conferees are expected to number more than 2,000 as open source and database advocates come together to consider optimizing the range of solutions available in the MySQL ecosystem.

This conference is the world's largest assembly of MySQL developers, users and DBAs at an event that demonstrates MySQL's appeal and capabilities. The agenda for the 2009 conference is planned to enable businesses to thrive in an increasingly challenging economy.

  • Business and Case Studies
  • Cloud Computing
  • Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence
  • ISV/OEM
  • Java
  • LAMP
  • Migration

Conference co-presenter O-Reilly characterizes the event as "...an interactive learning community--four days packed with connections to MySQL developers and open source experts who know their subject inside and out [that will provide] unique insights from speakers, vendors, project leaders, and other participants who are using MySQL to successfully run the world's most demanding applications, saving millions of dollars over proprietary software and hardware solutions."

Details on the program and registration specifics are available here. Two options are available for registrants: online registration or registration by mail/fax.
