Vendor Voice articles are the latest service offering SNI is making available to the Sun ISV and IHV community. It is now possible for companies who provide valuable solutions to the community to easily and inexpensively get their message out to a highly qualified audience of about 45,000 IT professionals, spanning over 8,000 organizations, who use Sun products.
Most of the Fortune 500, military organizations, government organizations, universities, financial institutions, and thousands of organizations that cover all of the important vertical markets comprise the 8,000+ organizations.
The content submitted by sponsors may be based on a white paper, content within the sponsor's website, or some other document. Sponsors may want to promote an event, promotion, new product launch, data sheet, etc.
The sponsor prepares the short and long summaries as ready to publish.
Since Vendor Voice articles are written by the sponsor it acceptable if the sponsor is referred to in the first person or third person if more appropriate. These articles must meet SNI's editorial standards which include tone, and accuracy.
Not all Vendor Voice article requests will be accepted. All articles must be approved by SNI as appropriate for the audience.
A general description of what the sponsor will provide is a 35-50 word mini article and a longer "read more" version of approximately 350-500 words.
- The sponsor provides all of the copy to be used in specified formats
- SNI will be make clear to readers that these articles are "Authored by Sponsors"
- The "Vendor Voice" articles will be in a section entitled "Vendor Voice"
SNI will provide sponsor page views and click through counts to the sponsor's call-to-action landing page.
