Available through X-Option and ATO configurations, the 75W ACP quad core processor option is the fastest quad core processor available for the X4100 and X4200 M2 Rack Servers, running with 2.3GHz and 2MB L3.

• Runs Solaris OS, Linux, Windows and VMware supported by Sun
• More network expandability: four Gigabit Ethernet ports in a 2RU server
• Upgrade to quad-core for less than 50% of the price of a new system

With the upgrade to quad core, Sun offers an upgrade plan for customers who already own Sun Fire X4100, and X4200, M2 servers. Customers who upgrade the CPU are eligible for the Upgrade Advantage. This will grant customers up to 20% “trade in allowance” for the old Sun Fire (M2 only) CPUs when purchasing the new CPU.
