Sun Grid Engine

Provides policy-based workload management and dynamic provisioning of application workloads. A Grid Engine master can manage a grid of up to ten thousand hosts, meeting the scalability needs of even the largest grids.

Sun Studio Software

Delivers high-performance, optimizing C, C++ and Fortran compilers for the Solaris OS on SPARC, and both Solaris OS and Linux on x86/x64 platforms, including the latest multi-core systems. Sun Studio includes debugging and performance tools including an analyzer for optimizing parallel code performance.

Sun HPC ClusterTools

This integrated parallel development environment enables customers to run their complex, compute-intensive applications on Sun systems and clusters of Sun systems. ClusterTools software is an integrated toolkit that allows developers to create and tune Message Passing Interface (MPI) applications that run on high performance clusters and SMPs. Sun HPC ClusterTools 7.1 is based on Open MPI 1.2.4.
