Startup Camp San Francisco and CommunityOne Conference
Set for May 4-5, 2008 in San Francisco

Sun will be hosting a Startup Camp event May 4-5, 2008, in conjunction with the second annual CommunityOne conference scheduled for May 5, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

Sun Startup Camp, San Francisco

Startup Camp 5 will host leader-moderated sessions where participants are invited to come, share, listen and learn, as well as activities such as "SpeedGeeking," where startup founders can compete in the "Best Startup Contest" by presenting a five minute pitch of their business to small groups of peers.

The Startup Camp concept is based on encouraging peer-to-peer contact to learn what has worked and what hasn't in starting up a business, while also contributing to a community of interest with the common goal of building the right solution for a successful startup.

This free, interactive unconference means attendees drive the agenda. If you're thinking of going to Startup Camp 5 and want to suggest some discussion topics, visit its wiki page. Also be sure to register.

CommunityOne Conference
