Consolidate to Sun SPARC Enterprise T5120 or T5220 Servers

Customers trading in two Sun Fire V240 servers can receive a 50 percent trade-in allowance when they purchase a new Sun SPARC Enterprise T5120 or Sun SPARC Enterprise T5220 server. With this special offer, customers will be able to transition from the UltraSPARC IIIi technology to the latest multi-threaded technologies more economically.

The Sun SPARC Enterprise T5120 and Sun SPARC Enterprise T5220 server also will reduce space and use half the power of the former servers, while providing twice the performance.

Specifications for the T5120:

  • Height: 44 mm (1.746 inches); one rack unit
  • Width: 425 mm (16.75 inches)
  • Depth: 714 mm (28.125 inches)
  • Weight: Approximately 16.55 kg (36.5 lbs)

  • Under 95 W (nominal), and fewer than 2 W per thread

  • Chip Multithreading Technology (CMT) UltraSPARC T2 processor with up to 64 simultaneous threads of execution

Specifications for the T5220:

  • Height: 88 mm (3.49 inches); two rack unit
  • Width: 425 mm (16.75 inches)
  • Depth: 714 mm (28.125 inches)
  • Weight: Approximately 23.58 kg (52 lbs)

  • Under 95 W (nominal), and fewer than 2 W per thread

  • CMT UltraSPARC T2 processor with up to 64 simultaneous threads of execution
