NetBeans and OpenSolaris Wiki Page to Resolve Any Issues December 31, 2007,
Volume 119, Issue 1
designed for investigating, documenting and improving the integration between NetBeans and the application runtime platforms available in OpenSolaris
The NetBeans.org wiki has created a page specifically designed for investigating, documenting and improving the integration between NetBeans and the application runtime platforms available in OpenSolaris, including:
Ruby (Ruby on Rails, Apache, PostgreSQL/MySQL, DTrace)
Java (Glassfish or Sun Java System Application Server, PostgreSQL/MySQL, DTrace)
Implementation issues currently noted in Dashboard have sections on MySQL, PostgreSQL, PHP, Ruby, and NetBeans database support.
The planned list of activities for this project page will involve sanity testing with build candidates for SXDE and/or Indiana; logging RFEs and issues to improve overall usability; tracking the RFEs, their issues, and escalating as needed; documenting how to accomplish various tasks using NetBeans and OpenSolaris; and answering questions/resolving issues on various forums/email lists as needed.
Page host David VanCouvering requests feedback from the community, including "any thoughts, ideas, concerns, feedback, issues or rants around how well NetBeans works (or doesn't) with these stacks."
